hi there, i recently had my computer flattened and i am not very confident in diving in and opening my pc ( idont havea clue what to look for). basically i need to re-install all of my drivers and i cant find my sound card driver. i have a completely stock advent t9207. i think it has an AC97 or something but im not sure. Could you tell me if thats right and give a link to download it plz??
the realtek one just takes forever and then just clocks out. i havent got a slow intenet either (broadband). its really starting to annoy me now. does anyone have any idea who made it, what model it is etc.
Maybe its the wrong driver. When I visited the link given by brundle one part said it was the C-Media WDM sound driver and below it stated "The Intel® Pro/100 VE LAN drivers are supplied pre-installed on your computer......" I see there is also a C-Media High Definition Audio driver for download. You need to run a diagnostic program which will list all hardware on your motherboard, something like Everest click here
