is this sound card compatible with Vista?

I have had some difficulties with my sound card on my dell E521. I have decided a new sound card is probably the best and cheapest solution. Since I don't want to spend an awful lot of money on such a card I have found the following card: Sound Blaster® Audigy™ SE for around £30.

Does anyone know if this sound card is compatible under Windows vista premium edition?

Any help is greatly appreciated

go to click here
and you'll find the card is supported in Windows Vista™ via OpenAL.'

I have -as yet- not installed Vista but will use Creatives X-Fi ectreme audio, which offers a bit more than the Audigy card.

ectreme= X-Fi Xtreme Audio

ok, just a final question though. Does this mean the card will work as soon as I installed the drivers and all that, or do I have to change the settings and stuff first for it to work? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this openAL thing looks to me like some way of modifying the card so that it works under any operating system. Or am I just being a noob :p?
