You cannot get sound via DVI alone - it only does picture.

In order to send the PC's sound to the TV, you'll need to connect your PC's soundcard Audio out (speaker/headphone jack) via a 3.5mm jack to the Audio INput of your TV, which is likely to be 2x RCA connectors.

The above is assuming that's what you want to achieve, i.e. PC's sound to TV. If not, what do you need to achieve G

"You cannot get sound via DVI alone - it only does picture."

What I meant by that is, as a DVI interface is part of the connection, only picture/video will be transferred.

Apart from what I suggested, to send sound from PC to TV you can also connect the two with a HDMI-HDMI cable. G
