Hi,

I'm not sure if i have got this posted in the right area, but as a newbie i needed to start somewhere!

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC45E, which I'm trying to hook up to my windows movie maker. The problem i have is when i connect the camcorder to my PC I'm shown that there is no device connected. I currently run Visa HP. I've looked for any drivers that i need to download, but the Sony site is a nightmare to get around. Could someone point me in the right direction please, or have i got a camcorder that is not compatible with my Vista?

I also have the same problem when i try and load the Sony suite disc that came with the handycam.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sean
