songs format

i am using nero 6.0 for burning cd, i had chose audio format for burning song on cd. but when i play the songs, it didn't play. the windows media player didn't recognise the format. how to wrtie songs in cds

What format do the songs have. Usually are type CDA when making an audio disk.

yes, they are in CDA format. when i play these in windows media player. it says it can not recognise the format.which player support this format.

Media player should play these. Have you configured media player to play them.

Media player/tools/options/ check the file extensions you want.

i am using windows media player 6.0, i had checked view/options/format and i didn't find CDA format in it.

Just as a matter of interest, if its CDA have you tried it in a normal CD player? That will prove beyond doubt if its a problem with the CD or the player(s) in Windows.

It just says CD AUDIO track
