Hi
just lately I have noticed that some video(on the internet) plays at a very fast speed I have internet explorer 7 and use media player 9 I have checked the internet and this seems to be a recent common problem that is overcome by using player 11 but does anyone know the reason for this sudden occurrence
thanks

You can alter WMP play speeds from View>Enhancements>Play Speed Settings - I'm sure that WMP9 and 10 were the same as WMP11 for the feature (there are a number of others including a graphics equaliser, auto volume levelling, colour chooser for the main skin, video settings etc).

yes have tried that but there are only 3 options and even on slow it is still like alvin and the chipmunks seems to be a problem relating to mono playback as these seem to be the vids with problems and like I said is only something that has happened recently and not just to me
thanks for your speedy reply
