When I feel stressed I somtimes would exit my current activity and play Solitair to releive the tension. Recently I did a Restore because I was having problems with my Vista (Home Edition) system and although my system problems have been resolved I now find that that when I run Solitair I get the following message:- "The game is running in sofware mode. Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video driver". Solitair ran O.K., before I did the Restore and it sure is running slow now! How do I correct this condition?

This is a long shot but it has the look of you going back to an older video card driver.

Firstly see if you go to Control Panel and check for updates to see if a more recent driver is offered to you.

otherwise check on your card manufactures web site to see if there is an updated driver for your machine.
