Solid Converter PDF & IE6 Problems

  Woolwell 10:41 23 Sep 2005

A few months ago I got this error message every time I shut down IE6 - Acrobat IEHelper: iexplore.exe. Application Error. The instruction at "0x......." referenced memory at "0x........". The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program. I lived with it mainly because I use Mozilla Firefox but I like things to work. Uninstalled Acrobat Reader - no change. Did Scannow - nothing found. Tried to uninstall IE6 and reinstall. Complete Spyware and Virus check nothing found. Eventually I found on a forum a mention of Solid Converter. Uninstalled Solid Converted PDF and the problem has gone. Hope this helps anyone else. But why cannot Microsfot make their error messages clearer? I will not be using Solid Converter PDF again.
