Trying to be greener, have a plug adapter which powers all peripherals off when PC is shutdown manually. Does anyone know of any freeware which will power off the PC if it is left idle for, say, more than 15 minutes.
Thanks

Go to Power Options in Control Panel and configure as required - you don't need software.

Alternatively, if you have XP, use Hibernate; this shouts down your system after saving all your work and you can reboot much faster when you switch it on again.

If you do use Hibernate, make sure that at least once a day you shout down the system properly.
