Software OTHER than Pando...

Evening Chaps,

I've been using Pando for a while but it's very slow. Is there another free software that does a similar thing? I've googled a search but can find nothing.

Had a look at a search engine about Pando but it completely goes over my head why you need to use such a service.
What bennefit do you get?

Son sends me vid clips of the grandkids. Neither of our ISPs allow email transfers with these hefty attachments.

Sounds 'iffy' to me if it's this one; click here , if the 'rules' are to be changed.
P2P is quite within the law but, as in olden days, it's a witch hunt and anybody involved in p2p are baaaaad people.

Stick to it. P2P is legal and seems Pando are required to transfer to recipient and receiver ISPs info that makes this type of personal information legal. Big Bro job. Try a search engine to see if you can find a better one but I doubt it.
Good luck.

rdave13, it's not P2P like Limewire & Torrents. It's simply a means of sending attachments (like images, vid clips etc) that are too large to go via email. It's slow - that's why I ask if anyone knows of a better one.

It is P2P. Nothing like what you mentioned above but still P2P and sounds like a legitimate one.
Unfortunately I don't think legitimate p2p sites will be no longer free thanks to the spongers....err/pirates.
Sad I know but you could try a search engine with caution ofcourse.
