I run windows xp home and wish to make incremental backups of my documents etc. I do not have windows xp disc to try the hidden backup program.I have tried Powerquest drive image software but it will not recognise my cd writer. I have a laptop with combined cd/dvd.
Most programs seem to backup to a folder on the hard disc but I want to burn to cd.
Any ideas anyone?

Try Norton Ghost 2003.

You could back up to a folder and then burn it to a CD.

AS for XP's backup program, you can get it from here click here

How big are the documents you want to back up?.I use the humble floppy for day to day back up of text documents I have been working on
