Hello,

I remember reading in PC Advisor, that there was a website where you can download software that informs out of Website updates. I have search all my copies of PC Advisor and cant find the website address. Does anyone remember reading the article and the website address.

Many thanks

There's one or two such websites but one that is used by Evesham on its systems (to cut down on support calls) is:

which includes Windows, Office etc updates and many others.

Just install and check regularly using the Gather button after "subscribing" to whichever services you require.

It was software which checked a webpage to see if it was updated.

Thanks

Most software has an update check facility.

The links that have been provided check for updates that are actually INSTALLED

That posting was sent (for some reason) before I had finished typing.

I was trying to emphasise that the links provide for updates for software that is actually installed on your system. That is presumably what you require.
