So, this is Broadband?

I have just got NTL Broadband at 600k.

I logged in and went to 'Change Password' as the one NTL assigns is so complicated I needed one i could remember.

After 11 minutes i gave up and cancelled. I then went back to my AOL dial up and changed password which was completed in 15 seconds.??????

You just got it at an unfortunate time!!

yes, I read that earlier. But AOL is working perfectly, and faster than NTL BB. does that mean it is only affecting BB connections?

Looks like everything is (almost) back to normal - no red squares! click here

  pj123 14:48 26 Jan 2003

Thank you for that.

i must say that since about 1435 today sunday 26/01 things have been going faster.

It affects everyone regardless of connection.

Its the servers so theres nothing you can do but just wait till it clears, if your problem still persists then i would say you will have to have a look at your settings. But wait and hopefull it will be cleared.

I have just rung the NTL BB helpdesk and got a message that there is no one availabe to answer any queries until tomorrow Monday 27/01 at 0900.

So much for 24 hour support??

  obbit 16:17 26 Jan 2003 NTL B/B is brill.

Referring to Vog's posting info.I was told that NTL had in fact been hit with the said virus.
