Errm - according to this, nothing opens it - click here

Can you right-click the file and examine its' properties? You may get a clue that way.

It may be a Linux text file - you could try right-clicking and choose 'Open with Notepad'

Thanks for the reply.I found this ,below but it still does'nt say how to open it.My file is a Lloyds TSB file

STM Sound File
Prosa State Transition Diagram Model
Scream Tracker v2 Module
SHTML File (HTML File Containing Server Side Directives)
SDR99 Speech Recognition Task Time Segment Time Marked File
PhotoStudio Stamp [XnView]
Secure Login File for Navy's NOWS (click here)
LloydsTSB Statement File (Bank statement in CSV format

If it is a CSV file, you can open it with any text editor, such as Notepad, any word processor, such as Word, or a spreadsheet such as Excel. You will probably need to open your chosen application, choose File > Open, and in the 'file type' select All or *.*

Why Lloyds TSB can't just give it a conventional .csv extension is beyond me.

P.S. = as it is a bank statement, I would recommend Excel if you have it
