S.M.A.R.T.

Hi all.
This may be nothing at all and probably is BUT.When I boot up the computer there is too much to read on the screen when it is opening, but I did notice "S.M.A.R.T. capable but not enabled" Is this important and if it is how do I enable it.

Acronym for Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology, an open standard for developing disk drives and software systems that automatically monitor a disk drive's health and report potential problems. Ideally, this should allow you to take proactive actions to prevent impending disk crashes.

Don't know how to enable it, you would have to go to the hard drive's manufacturers site.

To enable it yoy will have to go into the BIOS
