Just installed Windows 77. the screen resolution required uses very small text. Is there a way to increase text size without lowering screen resolution?

Have you tried holding the Ctrl button down, then using the mouse wheel?

Did that and upped the size in some applications but no effect on Skype

mick73 - here's how to do it -

Click Tools> Options then go to the IM & Sms section. In the IM Appearance sub-tab you'll find [Change font] (slapping you in the face with its why am i put here and abused looking) button. That's where it's found...

To change Font size in Windows 7

1. right click on desktop, select Personalize

2. On Personalization screen, click the option called “Display”

3. On Display setting screen, you can easily select from the available font sizes on Windows 7.

4. Just select the desired Fort size and click Apply. Yes, this is it, this is all you need to change the default Windows 7 font size. It surely is easier than most people think.
