slugish mouse in Far Cry

When playing Far Cry my mouse is very slugish and jerky, making game play very hard. Using XP Pro logitech mouse man opticial USB. Any ideas?

Dunno, but something similar happened to me with SoF II, had to add extra RAM. I was shooting at everything other than what I wanted to. Could this be a reson? has it played ok previously on your PC? HTH TR

USB could indicate the problem, try a powered PS/2 mouse.

FarCry requires a powerful machine too.

Far Cry is a very demanding game. Make sure your graphics, ram are able to do it. I know the min.specs on the box are rather low. In reality, I think it requires much more than those specified.

BTW, it requires dx 9b to play properly.

some games have an option in the controls to adjust mouse speed.
