Hi, my computer has a very slow startup time. Could this be due to a lot of software on it? I have 35 different Icons. including the anti virus, spy, etc.

Thanks

cut down on the number of icons, 35's toooo much,
you don't really need all of them to start at once, run some of them when you need them

Can you tell me how to cut down on the number of icons i have, with out losing them?

Hi, make a New Folder in My Documents and name it Unused Icons, or similar - then simply drag icons that are not used very much from your desktop into this folder; from where you can return them to your desktop whenever you wish.

To further speed up start-up, in IE go to Tools>Internet Options then delete Cookies and Files.

Cheers.
