Please help
I have noticed how slow the speed has become on my computer - on accessing Cntl,Alt,Del I have 28 programs running & I don't know what most of them are. The list contains the following:-
Winmgant
Whqgent
Dkeybex
Gbtask
Kbossdctl
Mxrct32
Osa
Kbrmt32
Recmng
Kbstatus
Bkgrd32
Wheelmng
Rmtspec1
Calsmng
Mn_tray
Rmtconut
Loadqm
Cdmng32
Sm56hplr
Tmtstock
Confsur
Systray
Awmmain

Do I need these & if so which ones?
Can they be disabled from the start menu?

Thanks for advice
Chris

simplest thing to do is to use msconfig to remove them from the start up list (just remove the tick, don't actually remove them). then restart and you should see which, if any are really needed. To be super safe, remove them one at a time - or if more adventurous remove a few at a time. Of the list you have given I would suggest leaving Systray ticked but I don't recognise any of the others as being important.
