SLI Nvida 7300GT

  willdd 16:03 16 Sep 2006

I have installed an Nvidia Geforce 7300GT PCI Ex press card into my computer which has a Foxconn mobo, AMD 4200 dual core, 1Gb memory and running XP2 professional.
All works well, however when i start my computer and XP has loaded all devices i get a dialogue box with this message:
"SLI multi GPU rendering has been changed to independent GPU rendering because one of your SLI cards has been removed. SLI multi GPU rendering requires 2 or more graphics cards".
It is a new card and i have never had 2 cards in my system.
Can anyone advise how to stop this message from appearing.

have a look in the bios to see if there is an option for selecting single instead of sli. you can download your motherboard manual.

Had the same problem. Resolved it by updating the graphics driver. To version 91.47

Thanks for that. The updated driver resolved the problem.
