Slave Hard Drive problem

  peterleemaxwell 19:36 12 Aug 2010

I have a slave hard drive (F) that has now given the message 'F Parameter not specified'. On checking the properties the data is 'Raw'. Can this be fixed? Any help gratefully received.

Lost the file system you can recover the data using something like Test Disk (free) click here

Just tried 'CMD' and using the command F chkdsk /f
with no success. 'The type of drive is FAT32 Cannot lock current drive'
Then something I do not understand.
"Chkdsk cannot be run because the volume is in use by another process. Chkdsk may run if this volume is dismounted first. ALL OPENED TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID. Would you like to force a dismount on this volume? (Y/N)."

Thanks Fruit Bat /\0/\. I'll give it a try.
You have helped me in the past and it is appreciated. Thanks.

Fruit Bat /\0/\ When I get the options of the partition table there are several ones that it could be. Is it the 'Intel/PC partition'? I did go for it then it gets more complicated. Too much for my level
