Hi i hope someone can help, signed up to sky broadband and got a wirless router!
Just started to set up and i don't know where the ethernet cable goes i've looked at back of my computer but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere!
I've got a packard bell with windows xp i think it 5-6yrs old!
I don't think it's wireless enabled!

All the wireless routers I have installed are hardwired to the PC via a Ethernet cable to the PC's Ethernet socket.I believe you can buy these.Hope this helps

PCI Ethernet card click here

You need a spare PCI slot on the motherboard for it a White one. Do not get a Wireless card unless you can also connect a Ethernet cable to it. As you need to connect with a cable to set it up
