Windows XP

I have created some PDF files using Adobe 9.

The files are correct but as I want to share some of the data (but not all) how can I edit them?

For some reason when I go into Edit on the PDF screen delete> is grayed out.

I am certain it can be done, but how!!

Thanks a lot

If you are using Adobe Reader You wont be able to edit as that function comes with the full product. In fact I`m unaware of any freeware that will allow editing of pages, but you can remove pages by using something like PDFTK builder to split the PDF file.

Have a look at these you may find something that will help click here

If you use OpenOffice.Org to create documents you can EXPORT them as PDF.
You can then edit the original and export it again to overwrite the first version or give it a different filename.

Thanks. Much too complicated for simple amendments.

So I have managed to copy through to a word document saved it and then deleted the confidential bits.

Thanks anyway

Hope all goes well John the scanner does!

You can get Foxit PDF editor free click here You can d/load that for free, but although it is fully functioning, if you don't buy a license, it automatically puts a small evaluation stamp on every pdf you save. No big deal to me, but don't know if that would bother you. It's like a small stamp in one corner.
As it's free, you always try it and get rid if you're not happy.

Hi Piclefactory
What a fantastic PDF editor and a comprehensive manual to go with it.

I have no problems with the stamp on anything I save like you no big deal as long as the job is done.

Thanks again its now downloaded and will play with it tomorrow.
