Can anyone help? My wife is not very familiar withcomputers she's nearly 80 and her eyesight is deteriorating. She likes to listen to music as she uses it and I've now been able to put a lot of music on her computer but she finds Windows media player too daunting and would prefer something without so many complicating features. She just wants to be able to play her music in a straight forward way. Can anyone make any suggestions as to suitable software.

WinAmp has a Double Size Option, Roughly 1/6th of your Screen Size.

skidzy, I was thinking of installing VLC, since I believe Win Media Player does not play DVD's. Do you know, if it is OK to have both applications installed - do they 'interfere' with each other at all?

Is this what you call a hijack?!!!

Vlc will run happily along side WMP with no problem, your decision what one you make as the default player.

WMP will play dvd's but not burn in xp.
Vista however will play and burn dvd's.
