Hello my good people, hope you can help me.

The IF function works as follows:
Cell A1 shows Status either Active or Overdue
Cell A2 shows end date
Cell A3 shows current date
Formula is: "IF(A2>A3,"Active","Overdue")

lol, it works!!

How can I add to the formula this conditional format:

Make "Active" font colour Green
Make "Overdue" font colour Red

Any thoughts, suggestions would be much appreciated.

Use Formula Is and

A2>A3 to set green font

A2<=A3 to set red font.

Apologies for delay - decided to defrost the Freezer!!

Could not work out how to use "IS"; so created a conditional format dependent on value in A1 - Active or Overdue.

Can you show me how to include IS in my formula?

Once again, many thanks

Chillie

Sorry, I didn't explain very well.

When you bring up the Conditional Formatting dialog box by default it is set at Cell Value. If you click the arrow next to that you can change it to Formula Is. Then enter one of the formulas above, click format and set the colour. Then click the Add button to insert the other formula and formatting.

Again my thanks, will tick as resolved.
