Please help.
I am looking for a VERY simple accounting programme for small business to create accounts for tax purposes. Opening/closing stock, sales/purchases, etc. Hopefully someone knows of a shareware programme that will be suitable.

Thanks for the link.
The big question is; Is it SIMPLE. I have looked at Quickbooks which fills me with horror and is far too large for my use. Have you tried using the programme?

Why not use a spreadsheet and enlist VoG's help to set it up. He love's excel so much I'm sure he'd offer advice.

Go to any NatWest branch and ask if they have a copy of Bookkeeper produced for them by TASS.

It's free and so simple to set up that even I had few probs. If you do have any difficulty there's a help line to TASS.
