Shrinking screen in Windows Explorer

  Drusen 08:18 15 Aug 2009

Every time a new window appears, following, for example, a Google search, the screen display decreases in size (from the bottom up) by about a centimetre. After about 5 searches, there is no workable area left/the screen disappears. Every so often, I have to press F11 twice, otherwise there is no usuable screen to work with.

I presume there is some adjustment that I can make, but I've not found it yet.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Instead of a new window each time, why don't you open new pages in s new tab? G

This shrinking problem occurs when I am working in one window only.

Problem solved: after a lot of trial and error, I had to disable the Translate button on the Google Toolbar. Thanks for your help.
