Should I get IE 7?

  hawthorn59 15:18 16 Oct 2007

Just wondering the general feeling on IE7. I mainly use firefox, and have IE6 on my laptop too. I realize if I download 7 it will replace 6 and theres no going back, so I just want to make sure theres nothing nasty I dont know about....! For example, will Outlook Express still work with it the same way? i have OE6.

You can go back

As Pamy says - just uninstall IE7 and you will revert to IE6 automatically.

If you mainly use Firefox.I would stick with IE6.If you don't use it there is no need to up-date it.

if you get IE7 get this extra

the two combined makes IE7 better than firefox.

Yes install ie7 it is both better and more secure than ie6 - even if you use firefox most of the time.

If you do try IE7, you may want to try IE7Pro click here improves it rather a lot.

I have installed IE7 twice on my computer, and both occasions I had problems so reverted back to IE6. Other people have had similar problems, and that as been mentioned on this and other forums.

Give it a try, you can always revert back!.

I was never happy with it either spuds. One of the things I hated about it was that I could not get into my Temporary Internet Files folder.
