Shortcut to filling in e-mail address

My e-mail address is nearly as long as a short novel and does my head in when I'm registering on a site. I have roboform which can fill it in but that doesn't always work, as a link on a web page will often open in IE and I use Firefox. Can I type in say 'EMA' which will then type out my e-mail address and if so how do I do it? Will it also work in various browsers? TIA TR

Firefox has it's own password manager, but if you need more functionality try the AutoFill extension for Firefox - click here. G

Why not open notepad type your e mail address, put a shortcut on your desktop then just copy and paste it
when you need to.

It seems you would also like Firefox to open all your weblinks? In that case, set it as the default browser: Firefox > Tools > General & put a tick in 'Default Browser' & press OK. G

"but that doesn't always work, as a link on a web page will often open in IE" - Roboform works in IE, doesn't it? You can also get the Googlebar (for IE) click here, which has an autofill feature. G
