Sharing a printer in NT4

I've had a strange request from a customer.
They have three pc's each with a printer attached via a serial connector. They want to consolidate these onto a single printer.
Apparently a T switch is a little to complicated for the users to handle. Is there anyway I can use a print server to manage the serial outputs from all 3 pc's into one central printer?
All pc's are running NT4, and can not be upgraded or modified in any way. No other ports are available for printing. And the single network port is being used for a third party data management system.
The pc’s are about 5meters apart in a row (so 10m or so end to end.)

Perhaps serial to usb, a usb hub and a usb print server?
