Sharing external hard drive

  shellship 18:15 27 Apr 2005

My wife and I are wirelessly networked. Both have SP2 and can access ech other's files/printers. I back up my data by copying to an external USB HD and would like my wife to be able to do the same. My External HD is sharing enabled and I can access it from my wife's machine but when I try to copy her data to it acess is denied. Anybody know why and how to resolve it please.
