cannot run on my desktop, says you must be admin (i am) and run from a console session, help appreciated

Windows Key and R

Type in cmd

click OK

Type in sfc /scannow

hit enter

xp home, yes login with password, don't like to have different user accounts, but granddaughter is serious hazzard to my computer.

boot to safe mode

log in using administrator account

and run sfc /scannow

done that, still getting the rpc error

Go Start then Control Panel coose Administrtive tools then Services scroll down the list and make sure both Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator services are set to automatic.

Reboot and try sfc in the command Prompt again.
