Setting up X-BOX Live

As per the post title i'm wanting to setup X-BOX live using my 2MB ADSL Broadband service.

I'm really just seeking some assurances.

I have a 205 ADSL Router
4 PORT 10/100 PCI Slot NIC

I don't want to use USB because of it's unreliability so is it possible to run the RJ45 cable from the 205 ADSL Router into one of the 4 ports on the NIC, and use another RJ45 cable from the 4 PORT 10/100 PCI Slot NIC (20M RJ45 cable) to connect into my X-BOX's ethernet port?

Will it auto-detect and should it all work with no problems?

I am tryng to avoid using a USB lead for my PC and the Ethernet port for the XBOX, I want the entire thing to be Ethernet as it's faster, better and more reliable.

EDIT to say it's a BT Voyager 205 ADSL Router.

Fixed this issue myself.
