Setting up a wireless network

  ase301 12:19 02 Jun 2007

I have just bought a laptop and want to set up a wireless network from my desktop.

I have broadband access via my NTL modem and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I needed to have a router with built in modem or just a router that can connect to my current modem?

Just a router, NOT one with a modem built in as it won't work with NTL -

just a cable router.
