Setting Up A Website

I've activated my tiscali webspace and want to up load a few files. I need to create an index.html file. What is the best way to do this? I don't have 'frontpage' just at the moment so can I create an html file from 'word'?

Once created how do I use WS_FTP Pro to position it on the site correctly?

I think you should post your problem here..

Or F.E might do it for you.

Yes you can use micro$oft word for a web page/site, just open word, click File/new and choose Web pages tab (its the end one on office2000), then pick the style you want or a blank page and build it yourself.

save your page as index.html and ftp to your webspace along with any other files.

you may get better help from the Webdesign forum as computernerdiamnot suggests.

good luck with your site.
