setting the time on a Sky netgear router

  awest3 17:39 15 Apr 2008

I'm not sure if it matters but my Sky router's time setting is approx 1 hour behind real time....2 questions 1. does it matter 2. how can I (should I) reset it.

SKy router has been up now for 66 hours no more syncro issues..but seem to get a few 'send out NTP request' msgs...but they do not seem to cause any issues.

Setting Your Time Zone on a netgear router

Log in to the modem router at its default LAN address

On the main menu, select Schedule to display the Schedule screen:

Select your time zone.

This setting will be used for the blocking schedule according to your
local time zone and for time-stamping log entries.

If your time zone is currently in daylight savings time, select the Adjust for daylight savings time check box

awest3 18:09 15 Apr 2008 was as you say the daylight savings setting.

Thanks again Al
