HIya Folks

Right ive got the above ADSL Modem router

ive connected all the cables, and powered up the modem router

the power light is on
the test light comes on and goes off as it should do
The ADSL light is constant green
and the ethernet 1 is lit up

my problem is i cant get into the routers configuration by typing click here

on my old basic modem i had to double click speedtouch modem to connect to net via username and password

any ideas how i can get this router working

Until you get the router set up and working, try giving your Local Area Connection a fixed IP address in the same Subnet as the router. For example:

IP address - 192.168.0.5

Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway - 192.168.0.1 (the router's IP address)

DNS Server - 192.168.0.1 (the router's IP address)

It may be that your adapter isn't getting its IP address by DHCP from the router and this is preventing you from opening its configuration pages.
