I am useing an Acer laptop and have had the same "desktop" photo on here for ages, suddenly today it changed to another foto from my foto album, anyway I sent to change it back to the original home page foto and although it has put the original foto back on as the Desktop image, the sides of the fotoe at right and left are black borders, I cant seem to "stretch" the foto to fite the screen - This has never happened before, I have logged off and on again to see if it resets the format but it doesnt - any tips or ideas, I havent a clue how this could have happened thanks PCDIMWIT!!

I went into this window about how to set the desktop back ground and at the bottom there were three options, for some reason, my usual full screen option had been changed to an option with panels at the side of the picture on right and left, so I changed it to the "full screen" setting, re-altered it and now its fine, thanks PCDIMWIT
