  The Reiver 16:21 20 Oct 2006

Every time i switch on my stand alone computer i get a 'server busy pop up' that tell me to activate the busy program to rectify the problem ! i can only get rid of by pressing ctrl/alt/del and closing down the application. (I don't have a server).I have zone alarm fire wall running , avg anti virus running and spybot anti spyware running. How do i get rid of this pop up every time i switch on the computer?

Hi, if you are using XP a System Restore might do the trick.

Run your avg again, but this time turn off System Restore first. After running avg, do a restart and make sure System Restore is enabled again.

Nasties sometimes hide in System Restore.
