Separating PCs on a local network

We have 20 PCs in the office and we want to keep 4 of them separate on the network so they cannot see the rest of the office PCs when they start up or anyone attempts to make network connections from them or to them. They all go through the same router for internet access via a basic eth. switch. What extra/replacement gear do we need to implement this arrangement? Standard netgear 834 router at the moment.

about creating a subnet?

I could follow some tutorial. But the router does not have that capability and the switch is a simple one with no control. How would I do it?

If these PCs are on a 192.168.0.x subnet, what IP address change are you suggesting that will prevent them seeing the local networked PCs in the office? The Workgroup will be the same?
