Sending problem with outlook2003

Problem sending emails, using outlook 2003 0n an inspiron 9400 only say that as the same set up works on our pc.
Still using BT yahoo mail although we changed to sky but again it not an issue on the pc so pretty sure it has nothing to do with that.
When I try to send I am asked for “enter network password” it’s already filled in and looks ok although the password is concealed but even re-entering it fails to get it to clear, so when you press ok it comes back straight away if you press cancel error message received.

Task 'mail.btinternet.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC92): 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts.'

Tried putting my sky account on to outlook receives ok bout I get the same response when I try to send have set both of the up as instructed on the respective web sites.

Any recommendations as to what to check thanks
