Sending Emails Problem

I am at present on holiday, the accommodation has WI-Fi using BT home hub. I am connecting with no problems and can receive emails from my Pipex account, unfortunately I am unable to send emails as they keep getting bounced back.

I presume I have to change my outgoing SMTP settings but do not know what the settings should be, am I correct in thinking this, if so can someone offer advice.

Make sure Outgoing Server (SMTP)is ticked "Requires Authentication"
Settings are for both POP and SMTP

Make sure in the Connection Tab that connect by LAN is ticked, after that I can see no reason why it shouldn't work if the password is OK.
If all else fails, and you can access your Pipex account you should be able to send emails from there.

I think that you may need to change your smtp settings. You need to ask the person who runs the accommodation.

Also if you use Requires Authentication then to the right go in to the other Username settings and put in your username and password again Apply the change

Under the connection tab make sure your connection is listed and not greyed out

Or you could use - should be able to send from there.

but your POP server should remain as it is (for Pipex).

Have still no luck in sorting this problem out, have used the Pipex site to send emails, which I totally forgot I could use, silly me?
