Running XPhome, with Norton Internet Security 2005, Adaware, and Spybot.
1. Occasionally I need to send out (on a slow connection)several attachments with an email. NAV then spends an eternity in scanning them. As I do know that my system is secure(at this moment !) I've tried to turn off the "scan out-going mails" temporarily, and I've tried disabling NAV temporarily. Either way, the NAV pop-up appears, telling me it's scanning out-going mail. Is it ? If it is, can anyone tell me what else I can do to stop it. I've looked through the options for both NAV and the Security, but cannot find any other possibilities
2. I sometimes then get a timeout due to the above problem, and Norton tells me that it hasn't sent the mail due to a dropped connection. Quote "Open the Sent folder, and re-send from there" -there appears to be no way of doing this. If anyone can tell me how to, I should be most grateful.
