Sending an email to 20 or more people at once

I want to send an email, blindcarboncopy, to more than 19 recipients at once. My Internet Service Provider, namely Orange, will not permit me to do this since it blocks transmission when I click on "Send". My operating system is Windows XP with Outlook Express 6.

Is any free software available which would allow me to blindcarboncopy to, say, up to 100 undisclosed recipients at once?

It's not an issue with your software - it's an issue wth Orange. Try phoning them and asking them to lift the block.

All ISPs will be the same, if the email filter see the same email going to a lot of people at once from one address, it will think it is spam.

Then send out in those blocks- maybe over a period of hours or days

Try using a different mail providor.

Googlemail will allow up to 500 recipients per message, although if you go over that amount it will block your account.

It will also block your account if lots of the messages come back as undelivered.

These restrictions are to stop spammers...
