selecting a single wingding

Occasionally (like once a year) I need one particular wingding - an arrow pointing up, for example.
Can someone please remind me how to insert this into my Word text without hours of head scratching.

Start the Accessories then System Tools then Character Map

or in Word:

Insert, Symbol, choose Windings as the font then select the appropriate character and click Insert.

thank you both - particualrly Eric10. That's the method that I forget from year to year. This time I'll write it down somewhere.
