selecting the correct router

  compy 19:43 01 Dec 2008

Desktop PC with XP Pro, Laptop with Vista, Media centre with Vista.

My network set up uses AOL broadband through my phone line into my XP pc via a speedtouch 585v6 router useing an ethernet connection, and then to my other pc's by wifi.
My media centre which is downstairs from my main pc has lousy broadband reception, so i have decided to replace my router with a Belkin N+, but i am confused about the choice of Belkin N Wireless Cable/DSL Router(click here Quicklinx=4PR9) or
Belkin N+ Wireless Router (click here)
Would the N+ wireless router allow me to connect my phone line in ?

any nudges in the right direction greatfully accepted.

Looks like neither of those will do , you really want one with a modem built in , if you must have a Belkin then click here for a suitable one .

this uses the wiring in your house as a network. Plug one in near your router, connect with a ethernet cable, plug one downstairs near your media centre and connect with an ethernet cable - it's likely to offer much faster speeds and more secure too! Some software involved but v simple.
