Seen a friends computer running ME and has 1MB VGA

A friend of mine has a emachine (Old ish) running a intel celeron 6xxMHz CPU, 128MB SDRAM, and 1MB on board VGA.

Just thinking about it, 1MB for the onboard VGA is this possible to run ME as the machine did come with ME preinstalled from day one.

The pc does have its moment freezing but I am more curious of the size of this 1MB VGA onboard and there is no option in the BIOS to up it nor an AGP slot.

YA it should run
heck put in an extra 128MB or more and put
XP on it

also i have seen several of these systmes and usually they have intel 810 video cards
and when i updated the video card drivers from intel this made a big differnet diff and allowed 4-8MB of ram

check for drivers for all the devices
it should help

Even though in the first screen boot it shows 1MB VGA so with updating the VGA drivers (yes its a Intel chipset 810) this will possibly boost up the VGA to higher in MB.
Will tell him, if it doesn't work looks like a PCI card.

My old Dell P75 used to have 1meg onboard graphics, it was upgradeable to 2meg.
I put a PCI graphics card in - much better, this is the way to go, as in TomJerry post above.
