Security/ Safety and "java permissions"

Go Internet Explorer...... -tools -options -security -internet (custom level) -Microsoft VM “java permissions”...... can someone enlighten me on the significance of this group? mine is set on ‘medium safety ‘

i would click 'tools/internet options/security' and set it to 'default' that should do most people, by default its set on high settings with xp sp2 and if you open the dialogue box and click the question mark top right and then click on the 'custom' 'disable' 'low' medium' etc. then if you want info on what each one means click the 'question mark' top right and click on the 'low' medium' etc. to find out exactly what that means. as above i think default for all should do most of us.

Not sure but mine are set at "High" Safety. This is the default level that was set on downloading SP2. At least I think it's the default level as I haven't altered anything myself. j.
