Security Centre Problem

Well, not so much of a problem but I'll ask anyway.
I've had to uninstall Avast because it went funny, that's the only way I can describe it, and I've put Avg on.
I had to use the Avast uninstall utility, because I could not get rid of Avast, but the Security Centre is now telling me that I have two antivirus installed and that the one is upto date, I'm assuming its refering to Avg.

Does it actually matter what the security centre is telling me?

Thanks in advance

Steve

Security Centre may still be detecting some left over Avast files in the registry.

Use click here and click here to get rid of them

I've already used Ccleaner and a reg cleaner, but Windows is still insistant that I have two antivirus's on my pc.
The funny thing is, that this is after I used the Avast uninstaller.

There might be a file left in Programme Files. If so just delete it

Hi, I would suggest you do a Search via Start>Search, just type in Avast, and in the Search include Hidden Files & Folders, and then when any items are found you can highlight and delete them.

Cheers
