im at college and want to go on certain sites that they have banned. i used a site click here and this started to work but still will not work properly. are there any ways i can get round this. also i have allowed all cookies but when tryin to go onto a certain site it says i need to allow cookies first. any ideas how i can get around that too?

The college IT dept bans sites forvarious reasons:

1. They have to protect thier network from viruses and spyware etc.

2. The college PCs are for work, not play / personal browsing.

3. The college coud also be open for litigation if thier machines are used for nefarious activities.

Misue of college computers will probably get you thrown off any courses you are attending.

I think you will find that if anyone helps you here they are in breach of the forum rules. So, its not you who is taking the risk.

If the site you are trying to get to is for your course,then asking the teacher for help may be the best option.
